Betsy's Trip to the Hoosier State...

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Indiana to see friends and family. Other than nearly spending the night in Atlanta due to Delta's usual inadequacies, the trip was a blast and Betsy had a great time.

Miss B. got a runny nose on the plane, so we needed to keep the aspirator and the tissues close by.

Betsy met Phil, who later ate the aspirator in her pocket.

Betsy wore her first pair of jeans...which I am sure are the smallest jeans ever made.

(ignore my hair...yikes)

Betsy "tailed it up" again with her new Colt's bow. Go horse!

We got to see Zach and Christie, who have a little girl coming soon. Never thought I would see these three Tau's playing with a baby and drinking coffee at noon instead of something alcoholic.

Betsy finally got to meet her cousin Santana. Santana is 34 inches tall and over half my height, while sweet little Betsy is still wearing 0-3 outfits. It's crazy that they are going to be in the same grade one day, but let's not talk about Betsy going to school anymore...

The cousins enjoyed some pool time.

Betsy has apparently started practicing yoga and is often seen doing downward dog...namaste.

Betsy finally got to meet Pete, Brett's lifelong friend, and his wife Amy. The excitement of this meeting was overridden by Betsy's feet.

Abigail would beat me in a "mom of the year" contest since she diligently took pictures of everything Betsy did, carried all her stuff around, held her at restaurants and even went to buy her a replacement aspirator in the middle of the night.

Aunt Lauren learned quickly the importance of having Gerald "Gerry" Giraffe at hand when Betsy is cranky.

Wish we lived closer...

...miss you all already!!

  1. We absolutely loved having you three stay with us. What a wonderful weekend. Our house was full of life. Betsy is such a doll. I have never seen a baby as happy or more content as Miss Betsy Bohlander.
Our system is working out quite well...we were in Kansas in June, you guys just left us here in Indy, and before we know it, you will be back in Indiana for Turkey Day in November.
    We are missing you all!
