There have been a confused mixture of parenting tactics used out of desperation and exhaustion that include a lot of bribery, empty threats ("Do you want Santa to forget where you live??"), a few properly executed time outs and simple begging and pleading to pleeeeeeaaaase stop opening the nail polish, sticking the pencil in the glue gun, feeding the babies your wooden cookies and pouring water in the jar of sprinkles.
There have also been a confused mixture of good nights, bad nights and good days, bad days with the babies. They seem to change something every day and they just don't want to be caught doing too much of the same thing, so someone is always awake when one is sleeping and crying when one is happy. They wouldn't want anything to be too easy on their parents, that wouldn't be fun!
